Ken Otter and others, including Richard Platt, had done independent research before getting involved in its first edition. Hopefully by including the latest information here, it will help future editions be updated.
Various noticeboards were created and erected by them around Market Deeping and Deeping St James to promote interest in the history of the area and especially the River Welland.
